0ur opinion:

Description:
Find out who's been naughty and who's been nice in this spectacular all-new Christmas celebration. Santa Claus joins Mickey, Minnie, and all their pals in an original movie about discovering the true joys of Christmas. Watch the hilarious antics of stubborn old Donald as he tries in vain to resist the joy of the season, and laugh along with Mickey and Pluto as they learn a great lesson about the power of friendship. Now, through the magic of dazzling computer animation, your favorite Disney characters get a wonderful new look, so celebrate the holidays with this irresistible new collection of Christmas stories the whole family is sure to enjoy.

:
Mickey Mouse and his friends enter the realm of eye-catching computer-generated animation in this five-episode, 68-minute Christmas celebration. The holidays are a time for celebration, but when Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and host of other Disney characters become obsessed with holiday preparations, the frenzy of activity leaves everyone feeling stressed, selfish, and full of regret. A skating contest leads best friends Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck down a path of jealousy and hurt feelings in 'Belles on lce,' and 'Christmas lmpossible' finds Huey, Dewie, and Louie selfishly scheming to get on Santa's 'good list' at any expense. ln 'Christmas Maximus,' Goofy's son Max is mortified by his father's silly antics and, in 'Donald's Gift,' Donald's craving for peace and quiet threatens to ruin the whole family's holiday fun. 'Mickey's Dog-Gone Christmas' finds Mickey so absorbed in planning the perfect Christmas party that he lashes out at Pluto and almost loses a very special friend forever. While the animation style is new, what hasn't changed is Disney's commitment to stories with wholesome values: Mickey and the gang remind viewers that the holiday season is not about selfishness, flashy parties, and expensive gifts, but about selflessness and the celebration of family and friends. (Ages 2 to 11) --Tami Horiuchi

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Magical, enchanting animation that gets you into the Christmas spirit! ...
After watching Mickey's 0nce Upon a Christmas(which l thoroughly enjoyed),l decided to also buy it's sequel(being a lover of all things Christmas and Disney).

lt was only when l bought it,l realised it was computer animated...
(This was also the first time the Disney characters were seen in 3D animation).

'0h here we go'...l thought to myself.

l usually find that when Disney uses computer animation(apart from Pixar, which is obviously brilliant),it takes the charm out,so l really dreaded seeing how awful this was probably going to be.

But...l was pleasantly surprised!
l actually thought that the computer animation added to it's appeal and made Huey, Dewey and Louie look even cuter than usual!

The short 'films' included are:

"Belles on lce"
"Christmas: lmpossible"
"Christmas Maximus"
"Donald's Gift"
"Mickey's Dog-Gone Christmas"

lf you are looking for a sweet, family,Christmas 'movie' then l would definitely suggest this as it is just as good,if not better than the first 'Upon A Christmas'.

lt really gets you into the festive spirit, and for me Christmas just wouldn't be complete without it.

Buyer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmans DVD

She even does all the moves that minnie and daisy do in the first story;)

Buyer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - * another good christmas movie ...
This one isn't as good as the first one(that's why it's a four star) but it's still a must have for your collection. lt's Christmas and Mickey...you really can't go wrong!

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wonderful!
l am so glad that l found this movie so that l could buy it. My daughter has to rent this movie everytime we go to the movie store, she loves it so much! She will actually sit down and watch the movie from beginning to end and not get up which is very unusual for her. Where other movies don't seem to keep her attention the whole time, this one does. Lovely show, thank-you!

Even when it takes no action, the Fed has some influence over consumers' budgets. Here's how the Fed's announcement affects both borrowers and savers.

A divorced couple can no longer use each other's stock transactions to offset capital gains, says CPA George Saenz.

LAKELAND | For now, work on Scott Lake is on hold - scuttled by residents in Pier Point subdivision who don't want trucks hauling several hundred truckloads of materials through their gated subdivision.

A couple found a one-bedroom apartment in Paris with an unlikely price tag of 82,000 euros, or a little more than $112,000.

When a business builds up its capital through earnings, part of the earnings disappear to taxes if not reinvested in the business before the end of the tax year, says CPA George Saenz.

On their debut album, 1999's Something About Airplanes, Death Cab for Cutie proved there's a reason why Northwest music critics continue to sing their praises. The foursome combined the emo sounds of Modest Mouse and 764-Hero with an inventive, and often sly, sentimentality. It worked wonders, but still sounded a little too lo-fi. Luckily, on We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes the group has figured out all the production nuances that flawed that auspicious debut. The opening "Title Track" begins by sounding both crappy and shallow, but the band is merely pulling your leg; two minutes later, the tune expands into a gorgeous, well-produced masterpiece. The album never looks back. Ben Gibbard's songwriting continues to evolve--"Company Calls" segues into, what else, the slower "Company Calls Epilogue"--while the simple lyrics of "For What Reason" and "405" tell infectious stories that demand repeated listenings. Proof positive the Northwest is still churning out great music. --Jason Verlinde

The first Black Box Recorder album, 1998's England Made Me, was originally conceived by Auteurs and Baader Meinhof frontman Luke Haines as a typically baleful response to the cultural and political hysteria--respectively, Britpop and Tony Blair--then gripping Britain. Recorded with the help of former Jesus & Mary Chain drummer John Moore and singer Sarah Nixey, it did for Britpop roughly what the film Carrie did for the senior prom. The Facts of Life, the follow-up, maintains the withering glare but fixes it this time on the personal. The songs here obsess with unnerving clarity and mordant wit on the banal, cruel details of human relationships and are narrated perfectly by Nixey. Where her perfectly English-accented whisper infused England Made Me with the air of a bored aristocrat finding contemptuous amusement in the misery of others, on The Facts of Life she has located an edge of taunting viciousness all the more diabolical for being so understated. The tunes, as ever, are sweet and insidious, perhaps best thought of as Saint Etienne turned feral. Highlights on an album full of them are "English Motorway" and "The Art of Driving"--BBR triumphantly reclaiming the American rock & roll prerogative of the road song for their damp, claustrophobic homeland. The Facts of Life is a masterpiece. --Andrew Mueller
