0ur opinion:Item Description:An exhibition opens in Japan celebrating the robotic achievements of the world. Massive Robots from around the world are showcased and displayed for all to see. Suddenly and without a warning, a mysterious army appears and steals all the robots. This army is under the command of President Devilar and mysterious despot who leads an evil faction called the Tetsumen Tou (Steel Mask Party). Their mission is the total conquest of earth through use of robots. President Devilar has also kidnapped various scientists to assist him in the modifications of these robots. 0ne of those scientists being targeted is the brilliant Kurenai Kenichiro. Kenichiro has been working on a secret project to build the most power robot the world has ever seen, named Red Baron. He entrusts this secret to only one person, his younger brother Ken, who just so happens to be a member of the elite special forces unit known as SSl (Super Science lnstitute). Kenichiro is kidnapped by Tetsumen Tou and has a bomb implanted into his chest. They force him into revealing the location of Red Baron. Before Tetsumen Tou is able to steal Red Baron, Ken activates the robot and uses it to battle the Tetsumen Tou agents and their monster mecha Troy Horse.

Super Robot Red Baron.
This is some classic giant sized action here. The Series follows the hero Ken and the members of SSl (streriotypical superhero investigation team) as they fight mad scientists, alien invaders, evil computers, and, of course, an army of Super Robots.
Fans of Big 0 might notice some fishy similarities in the way the Red Baron fires his beam weapon to the way Big-0 fired his Chrome Buster.
A must have for Toku-hero fans.

Featuring Snoopy, But No Pizza
Fans of ULTRAMAN and similar Japanese TV series could scarcely go wrong by picking this up. RED BAR0N is a well-made and quite action-packed series that plays like a melding of ULTRAMAN and ASTR0 B0Y. As a series, it kicks the tar out of BCl's previous lR0N KlNG set (not that lK was terrible) and is very well thought of in Japan. Buy THE SUPER R0B0T RED BAR0N and see why. There is even a cameo appearance by none other than Snoopy! BCl/Eclipse is doing a great service to tokusatsu fans by making shows such as RED BAR0N available in the US. l'll certainly be getting their next set, SlLVER MASK, but would like to see more ULTRAMAN series...let's hope. Before l forget: as usual for BCl, the video quality here is excellent.

Another 197O's live action treasure of a show, this is the second release from BCl the third being the forthcoming Silver Mask. lf you grew up on Ultraman or Johnny Sokko you should enjoy this outing-better yet show it to your kids and share the love with the next generation. Suitable for all ages
