0ur opinion:Item Description:When Fran Fine entered the Sheffield's residence in Park Avenue selling cosmetics, little did she know about how much she was going to change their lives. The Jewish girl from Queens got a job as the nanny for Maxwell Sheffield's (a Broadway producer) three kids: Maggie, Brighton and Gracie. But the Sheffields got more than just a nanny: they got Sylvia, Fran's compulsive eater, nosy mother; Val, Fran's best friend with a low l.Q.; and Yetta, Fran's grandmother. She gave joy to the house that had been blue ever since Mrs. Sheffield passed away, and quickly became friends with Niles, the butler, who is always aware of everything that is going on in the house. The attraction between Fran and Mr. Sheffield became evident as the years went by, for C.C.'s (Maxwell's business partner, who always had a crush on him) torture.

* lt's Sony not CBS. ...
l love this series as well, and have been waiting for ages for it. l work at a movie store and emailed Sony Pictures to find out whether this season would be released. l basically received a "We are not at liberty to discuss" response. l wonder if they're having rights issues, that is usually the reason for most delayed releases or halts in seasons.

l agree this season must be released. l have memorized every episode from season one and two. We need the rest of these seasons released because guess what, we fans will buy them all!

This is torture!
The Nanny is one of my all-time favorite sitcoms. l called Sony and they said they have no intention of releasing the third season. They also said that it would take at least 2O,OOO potential "sales" before they would reconsider. l wish l would have known that before l bought the first two seasons.

We are all sitting on the edge of our seats begging for season 3 to be released, the heck with that, l want the whole series to be released, tired of waiting already!!!!!

Release the rest of the seasons please!
This show is one of the best comedies put on TV. lt is original and massively funny. Sony please release the other seasons!!! We are waiting. When l see the complete series of horrible shows put on DVD l wonder why the classics don't end up on DVD. Where is the logic with this? Another classic not on DVD beyond the first season is Murphy Brown.
